1. General

These conditions apply to all guests of 'Domaine de Rasigous', 2217 Route de Revel, 81290 Saint-Affriques-les-Montagnes, France.

The owners of 'Domaine de Rasigous' are Joost Van der Straeten and Tine Geerinck. The owners can be replaced.

After sending the reservation confirmation, the 'General terms and conditions and internal regulations' come into effect (see point 4).

Guests of 'Domaine de Rasigous' must adhere to the 'General terms and conditions and internal regulations', which can be consulted on our website and can be viewed at the accommodation.

In case of violation of the 'General terms and conditions or the internal regulations' or in case of inappropriate behavior, the owners can deny and refuse guests access to 'Domaine de Rasigous' with immediate effect. This without further notice and without refund of accommodation costs.

2. Chambre d'hôtes and gîte 'Domaine de Rasigous'

The accommodation is described on the website domainederasigous.fr

This website has been compiled with the greatest care, but there may be differences between the text, photos presented on the website and the current situation of 'Domaine de Rasigous' during your stay.

The guests cannot derive any rights from such differences.

Unfortunately, pets are not allowed.

The accommodation has been made as accessible as possible for people with physical disabilities. Please contact us if you have any questions about the facilities available. We do our best to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

3. Rates

The current rates can be found on our website domainederasigous.fr

The rates of 'Domaine de Rasigous' are without obligation and subject to interim price changes and obvious errors.

B&B: rates include breakfast, gas, water, electricity and heating.

Tourist tax (€0.77 per person / per night) will be charged.

High season starts on May 1 and ends on October 31, with a minimum stay of 3 nights.

Outside high season, public holidays and weekends, a minimum stay of 2 nights applies.

The confirmation of your reservation shows the corresponding final rate that was valid on the date of confirmation.

We recommend taking out cancellation and/or travel insurance to avoid all discussions.

4. Reservation and confirmation

The reservation can only be made in writing or via the website. No booking fees will be charged.

After receiving your reservation request, 'Domaine de Rasigous' will send a final confirmation by e-mail. At that time, the 'General terms and conditions and internal regulations' come into effect.

After payment of the deposit, your reservation is final for both parties.

5. Payment

After the reservation has been confirmed by 'Domaine de Rasigous', the deposit of 30% of the total accommodation costs must be paid into our account. You can also choose to transfer the total accommodation costs to 'Domaine de Rasigous' in one go.

If you have not paid the total accommodation costs in one go or by means of an advance payment, you must pay the outstanding amount 1 month before arrival into our bank account, stating our reference.

Drinks, picnic baskets, table d'hôtes and other costs must be paid in cash before departure. The costs can be found on a list in the dining room or in your room at 'Domaine de Rasigous'.

If you come to us and stay overnight on the day itself, you will receive your bill on site and you can pay in cash.

Business guests always receive an invoice. Private guests can also request this.

For technical reasons, 'Domaine de Rasigous' does not accept credit cards, cheques, bancontact etc. on site.

6. Cancellation / No-Show

If due to circumstances you are unable to use the reserved room(s), you must report this as soon as possible so that we can offer the vacated rooms to others as quickly as possible. We do not refund reservations. You can rebook the reserved period to another period, within one year from when your arrival was planned. If you rebook for a more expensive period and/or stay, the difference will be charged.

7. Arrival and departure

On the day of arrival you are welcome at our domain between 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM.

Please inform us by telephone if you will arrive later.

We will ask you to show your passport or ID for identification purposes.

You will receive a key that you will return to us before departure.

On the day of departure we would like to say goodbye before 10 am.

Deviations from the above times can only be made in consultation.

There will be no refund in the event of early departure.

8. Breakfast Chambre d'hôtes

Breakfast is included in the accommodation costs. If you do not use breakfast, we cannot deduct a discount.

We will prepare breakfast for you in the dining room between 8am. and 9:30 am. Weather permitting, breakfast is served on the terrace. If you want to have breakfast earlier, this is only possible in consultation.

9. The stay

Noise pollution between 10pm. and 8am. should be avoided. This applies not only in the accommodation itself, but also on the terrace. We kindly ask you to take our other guests into account.

Radio, TV and other noise sources may not disturb other guests.

It is not permitted to leave child(ren) alone at the swimming pool.

The swimming pool is open from 9am. to 6 p.m.

At the swimming pool, child(ren) must always be supervised by their parent.

Please do not leave your child(ren) alone on the property for a second, there is a pond a little further away.

It is not allowed to take glass or food to the swimming pool.

We have installed a coffee and tea corner in the rooms. We ask you to make use of this and not to bring your own drinks. We also provide a stocked minibar (for a fee).

Free WiFi is available in the rooms and the gîte. Ask us for the password. The use of the internet and own equipment during the rental period is entirely the responsibility of the guests. Illegal downloading is prohibited, as are reprehensible, immoral activities over the Internet.

Possible visitors of guests are not allowed on 'Domaine de Rasigous' without permission, unless after consultation.

Use of the sauna is by reservation, surcharge and at your own risk. The sauna is not allowed for children under 12 years old.

Guests must adhere to the instructions for use.

10. Restaurant

We serve our table d'hôtes on request on various days throughout the year (except Wednesdays). Please allow at least 24 hours. to be reserved in advance.

We do not serve alcohol to persons under the age of 18.

11. Safety and environment

Guests follow all safety and environmental standards of 'Domaine de Rasigous'.

Parking is free at the designated location.

Smoking is not permitted within the entire accommodation. You can smoke outside in the designated area. Please don't throw butts on the ground. If smoking is found in the room, a cleaning fee of €150 will be charged. If the fire alarm goes off due to smoking in the room, call-out costs from the fire brigade will be charged.

We kindly ask you to treat the furniture with respect during your stay.

Report any suspicious persons or activities to us immediately.

Due to the risk of fire, open flames and burning candles are not permitted.

The entire accommodation is suitable for a maximum of 12 people.

The property is accessible 24 hours a day during your stay.

12. Liability

We cannot be held liable for personal injury resulting from the stay in our accommodation and cannot be held liable for damage, loss or theft of property of our guests. In the event of disputes, all (legal) costs will be borne by the guests.

All risks related to a stay at 'Domaine de Rasigous' are borne by the guests.

In case of breakage or theft, please notify us immediately.

This cost will be charged if keys to 'Domaine de Rasigous' are lost.

'Domaine de Rasigous' is not liable for disruptions in and around the accommodation, such as failure of power, water supplies, technical installations, construction and road works in the vicinity of the domain that are not announced or not announced on time.

13. Complaints, disagreements

We resolve complaints together, so please report them to us in a timely manner. This is the only way we can resolve this to all reasonable standards.

14. Force majeure

In the event of force majeure, both permanent and temporary, the owners are entitled to dissolve or temporarily suspend the agreement in whole or in part without the guest(s) being able to claim performance and/or compensation.

Force majeure includes, but is not limited to: danger of war, war, rebellion, molestation, strikes, boycott, disruptions in the energy circuit, traffic or transport, government measures, scarcity of raw materials, natural disasters and furthermore all circumstances, extraordinary weather conditions, death of one of the owners or close family members, etc., under which full or partial compliance with the agreement cannot reasonably and fairly be expected from the owners.

15.Privacy

The personal data provided or made known will be treated confidentially by the owners and will not be made available to third parties.
